Well, we’ve had a moment to catch our breath after our recent run through Mexico, Canada and the States. It was sizzling out there but we hit some fine summertime spots along the way. A good time was had by all. But… it all started in Mexico so we wanted to post some photos from our trip down there. A few shots taken by us and a few taken by some friends along the way. A big thank you to Toni Francois and Jannie McInnes for letting us display their photographs. You can check out the album on Facebook here.
Thanks for coming to the show and we hope to see you soon.
Europa-great to be back in your neck of the woods.
All the best,

I Touch a Red Button Man
A few months ago we had the great fortune of collaborating with Mr David Lynch at the Coachella Music Festival. Mr Lynch created an animation piece titled “I Touch a Red Button Man” to accompany our song, Lights. The Huffington Post has just posted the animation piece as well as a story on the collaboration.
To read a post that the band has written on the collaboration, please view here.
And for the article, just go here.
And if you would like to just see the animation piece, well, look no further.

Remix EP
Just a reminder that the digital version of the “Try It On” Remix EP will be released this Tuesday (July 12th) in North America and on Monday (July 11th) throughout the rest of the world. The digital version of the EP features remixes of “Try It On” by Salem, Ikonika, Banjo or Freakout and an unreleased remix of “The Undoing” by Moths. Some truly great and innovative remixes. We are flattered indeed.
Furthermore, a Limited Edition vinyl version of the Remix EP will finally receive a North American release on Tuesday as well. The vinyl version will mirror the UK version from earlier this year and feature the remixes by Salem, Ikonika and Banjo or Freakout.
You can peep the Banjo or Freakout remix here. It’s a hot one.

Looking forward to it!
Always,

A big thank you to everyone who came to our shows during this recent tour. Too many highlights to list but we can say that it was incredible to finally play shows in Istanbul and Athens. The audiences roared during both of those nights. We were equally happy to have finally returned to Rome for a headlining show. We hadn’t played our own show there since our very first proper European tour in 2002. Primavera lived up to its sterling reputation as a truly great festival for both audiences and bands. Good vibes all around. Good vibes were also to be found at the Northside Festival in Aarhus, Denmark this past weekend. A tour de force of an audience. And last but not least, we greatly enjoyed ourselves at the Rock Am Park/Rock Im Ring Weekend in Germany and the Caribana Festival in Switzerland with Lake Geneva as a picture perfect backdrop.
Mexico is on deck and always a pleasure. Our second trip there within the past ten months. Super stoked.
All of the best,

Fans -
New personnel change: Dave Pajo is tagging out, folks.
Dave has decided to step out of the spotlight for a spell, and will no longer be touring with Interpol.
We’re all friends. It’s just an Out-of-the-hotel, Into-the-home sorta thing.
He’s going to be missed to be sure. Aside from being an exceptional musician, Pajo is a wonderful person to be around.
He’s sharp as a tack and funny as all get-out.
Anyway, if you saw us perform recently, I’m sure you’ll agree - we were lucky to have him.
Dave wanted to speak to you personally, so please see below for a note from the man himself.
And now for the good news:
We have tapped our friend Brad Truax to perform bass duties effective immediately.
Brad is the man. His musical resume includes work with a horde of awesome bands: Home, Soldiers of Fortune, Gang Gang Dance,
The Broke Revue, Animal Collective, Cass McCombs, White Magic…
He’s got taste and he’s got chops. And that’s what we want.
Our next gig, and our first with Truax, will be in Hamburg on March 3rd. So hop on over to Germany and come down say hi.
We look forward to seeing every last one of you in the coming months.
Thanks.

“I would like to announce that I will no longer be performing live with Interpol on their upcoming campaign. I’ll be taking a break from touring to focus on family. There are no personal, artistic or health reasons—it’s really as simple as that!
I would like to thank Paul, Daniel, Sam, Brandon, everyone in the crew, and all of the Interpol fans for the remarkable support and patronage they have shown me during my time with them. I feel a tremendous amount of love and respect for everyone involved and will genuinely miss them.
I will continue to record and perform music, with bands as well as solo, I just won’t be touring as much.
I am truly grateful for the experience and look forward to enjoying Interpol in the future, as a fan and friend.
Walk in light, walk in darkness.

February 20, 2011”
We sat down for an extensive interview with The Creator’s Project while we were in London this past December. Voila:
This has been a fun trek through North America. We’ve been graced thus far by Old Man Winter not hitting us with too many weather related delays. Well, besides sleeping on the bus at the edge of the highway one night while we waited for the roads to be plowed but hey that’s a whole other story. And we did have to cancel the SLC show due to serious illness which was most unfortunate. However, all in all, the shows have been tremendous while the audiences have been… well, electrifying.
We’re also pleased to announce that School of Seven Bells will be supporting us on our US Dates in April and May. They’ve been tearing it up on this tour and it’s a pleasure to watch them each & every night.
We’re also delighted that Matthew Dear will not only be joining us on the upcoming March European Dates but that he’ll also be playing with us at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire show in London. We’ve been admirers of Mr Dear’s work for quite some and we’re most definitely looking forward to these dates.
As a celebration of these tours, we wanted to offer a little jukebox on all three bands. We hope you enjoy.
Fondly,
Interpol
SALT LAKE CITY
We regretfully announce that we will not be able to reschedule the recently postponed Salt Lake City show. We’ve examined our forthcoming schedule and cannot find an opening to return to SLC to play this concert. We were looking forward to the show but unfortunately illness took its course and now we have to cancel it. Please accept our profound apologies. Ticket refunds are available at all points of purchase while tickets purchased online will automatically be credited back to those credit cards.
Sincerely,
Interpol
We are pleased to announce that we’ll be returning to play a show at London’s “Shepherd’s Bush Empire” on March 23rd. It’s been almost eight years since the last time we played “Shepherd’s Bush Empire” and we’re very much looking forward to our return. Such a beautiful venue. The show is presented by XFM and you can purchase tickets here.
See you there, London!
